Day 199

Day 199:            I have been searching for answers outside of my usual realm of influence.  I have found that the computer games, social media, and people I mostly talk to are not the ones who will ultimately have the answers I am looking for.            Spirituality is something that is not emphasized enough, especially in the first world.  There is more to humanity than science would like us to believe.  Miracles are nothing more than things we have not been able to explain with science.  It is easy to say that our science simply isn't there yet.  What if it is, and mainstream science either refuses to acknowledge it or intentionally inhibits us from exploring it because it exposes more sinister agendas?           I'd like to share a quote I found today:           "It's only when we realize what the betrayals and broken promises of our past have shown us that we gain the wisdom and skills that allow us to heal the patterns and move on in life."           Sou

Day 180

Day 180:  Concept of time The concept of time needs to be re-evaluated for most of us. We have limited time on this earth. Why waste it? I'm going to dedicate the rest of my life to achieving goals and self-improvement.

Day 173:  Soul searching          Being by yourself is not the way to go.  Sometimes it's time to push new limits and meet new people.  They say it's a good idea to get a new hobby.          I found a running club that met this morning.  I figured, what's the harm in working out before the run?  So I hit the gym and lifted some weights before joining the runner's club.          The lesson I learned is that when you're trying to run long distances with hills, it's not a good idea to hit the gym beforehand.  Also, bring a bottle of water.  I didn't expect to do 5-6 miles, but that's what we did.  That's much more than my usual treadmill workout.            I made it to the end, but I was the last to make it there.  It looks like I will need to do some training in running and endurance if I want to keep up with these distance runners!           Why the heck not?  I'm in the gym anyway.  I will up my daily training with more treadmill time.  Be

9/29/2018 - Day 165: Keeping promises Sometimes when we are drawn into what we doing, we drop the less important things. This blog was a good way for me to start formulating thoughts and setting goals. However, there are only so many hours in a day. Between work, exercise, diet, studying, and meditation, I've been swamped. As promised, a big update is here.  It's not everything, but it should be enough to motivate anyone reading this. Here is what I have to show for my hard work: 132 - 8/27/2018   I am missing a screenshot for the treadmill work out.  I assure you that I went.  I haven't had a SINGLE rest day. 133 - 8/28/2018    134 - 8/29/2018 135 - 8/30/2018   136 - 8/31/2018   137 - 9/1/2018 138 - 9/2/2018 139 - 9/3/2018 140 - 9/4/2018 141 - 9/5/2018 142 - 9/6/2018      143 - 9/7/2018 144 - 9/8/2018       145 - 9/9/2018 146 - 9/10/2018 147 - 9/11/2018 148 - 9/12/2018 149 - 9/13/2018 150 - 9/14/
